About the Role

What You'll Do

Responsible for protecting the assets of the company and ensuring a safe environment for our DC employees and visitors. The AP Specialist has a thorough knowledge of Gap Inc. policy and procedures. The AP Specialist works closely with AP Shift Coordinators and above to perform duties that directly support the core supply chain AP responsibilities of physical security, safety, inventory management, auditing, and investigations. The AP Specialist demonstrates knowledge of DC Operations and develops relationships to increase AP awareness, maintain operational excellence, and minimize shortages within their assigned area of responsibility. The AP Specialist also serves as a primary point of contact with the public (e.g., visitors, emergency services, law enforcement, and other government officials).

MUST have a valid Ontario Security License

Work Schedule: Sunday/Monday 6pm-6am and Friday/Saturday 10pm-6am

Who You Are
  • Ensure a safe and crime-free environment for DC employees and visitors. Maintain & manage controls including Access Control Points, Physical Security / Fire Safety / Equipment, and all related Systems & Administration.
  • Protection of all company assets: People, Property & Product.
  • Support Safety / Business Continuity – Assist with all Campus Emergencies, including Fire / Safety & Medical / Severe Weather events. Responsible for contacting emergency services and site coordination.
  • Participate in Shortage reduction programs by performing inventory auditing and system-related functions.
  • Support AP investigations & research, providing accurate reporting & case management. Apply/use all applicable investigative tools and ensure administrative compliance. Maintain confidentiality in all related matters.
