Position Purpose: The Asset Protection Specialist is primarily responsible for preventing financial loss caused by theft and fraud, and supporting safety and environmental program compliance in their assigned store(s). Responsibilities include:

1. Identifying incidents of theft and fraud, reviewing CCTV and exception reports, monitoring physical security, auditing Electronic Article Surveillance, and promoting a shrink elimination culture.
2. Preparing accurate case reports documenting apprehensions and recoveries, preserving evidence, interacting with law enforcement, and testifying in court.
3. Reporting hazardous conditions to the Manager on Duty and minimizing injury risks to all.
4. Demonstrating integrity, responding to asset protection concerns, and supporting store-specific business objectives.
