Job summary

Buc-ee’s, Ltd. is seeking a Loss Prevention team member to protect assets, monitor premises, and enforce store policies. You will patrol the store, observe entrances, and respond to incidents with professional decision-making.

The role requires a licensed Peace Officer and prior retail or loss prevention experience, with the ability to work long shifts and adapt to a fast-paced environment on busy store days.

Qualifications

• Previous retail, customer service, law enforcement, and/or loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Must be a licensed Peace Officer.
• Prolonged walking or standing for extended periods and ability to perform physical tasks as required.

Responsibilities

• Protect assets by patrolling the store and monitoring access points.
• Inspect buildings, equipment, and perimeters to prevent losses.
• Record observations, interview witnesses, and complete reports.
• Respond to customer disputes and act as conflict resolution mediator.
• Work a rotating schedule including day and night shifts and maintain regular attendance.
