• Knowledge of cash handling policies and loss prevention processes.
• Ability to respond to EAS alarms and investigate incidents.
• Experience documenting investigations and coordinating with leadership.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a visible presence to deter theft and protect store assets.
• Monitor checkout areas and review exception reports to identify fraud and cash handling policy compliance.
• Conduct surveillance throughout the store to detect theft, safety risks, and operational issues.
• Apprehend individuals committing theft in accordance with company policies and laws, ensuring safety.
• Respond to EAS alarms and investigate incidents.
• Monitor receiving and storage areas and conduct delivery audits to detect vendor fraud.
• Conduct inspections and audits related to shrink control, safety, and security standards; document findings.
• Maintain and operate asset protection equipment, including CCTV and alarm systems.
• Conduct investigations with thorough documentation and coordinate with store leadership and law enforcement as needed.
• Train associates on loss prevention, safety, and compliance practices.
