Job summary

ACE Hardware is seeking a Safety & Security professional for a Thursday–Saturday night schedule (3:00pm–3:00am) to oversee entry/exit, audits, and safety trainings at our Florida facility.

You will monitor CCTV, respond to alarms, and ensure a safe workplace while supporting loss prevention and regulatory compliance. The role offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities across our distribution network.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Minimum 2 years of practical experience in Safety, Security, Loss Prevention.
• Ability to work non-traditional shifts including nights, weekends, holidays.
• CPR/First Aid certification or able to obtain via company training.

Responsibilities

• Oversees and observes employees entering and exiting the building.
• Walks through facility conducting Safety/Hazard/Security audits.
• Monitors hazard materials storeroom and cleans up spills.
• Walks facility and conducts general investigations.
• Reads SOPs, responds to alarms, and monitors CCTV.
• Conducts safety trainings.

$16.60 to $20.80 per hour

Job Description:

Schedule: Thursday-Saturday 3:00pm-3:00am

What You’ll Do

• Oversees and observes employees entering and exiting the building.
• Walks through and around the exterior of the entire facility conducting Safety/Hazard/Security audits.
• Continually monitors the hazard materials storeroom and cleans up spills.
• Walks throughout the facility and conducts general investigations.
• Use computers and office equipment.
• Must read Standard Operating Procedures, hear fire/security alarms and phones, and be able to monitor CCTV.
• Conducts safety trainings.

What you need to succeed:

• Be a safety champion by promoting a safe and productive workplace through your own actions, including the proper use of PPE, safe operation of powered equipment and safe lifting techniques as determined by the role.
• Be an active participant in contributing to a successful safety culture in the facility.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability and willingness to work non-traditional shifts and hours.
• Experience with CCTV preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of practical experience in Safety, Security, Loss Prevention.
• Able to work a varied schedule to include early mornings, swing shift, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• CPR/First Aide Certified or able to obtain certification through company provided training.
