Job summary

Ace Hardware Corporation is hiring for a Safety and Security role at our facility in the United States. The position oversees employees entering and exiting the building, conducts safety and security audits, and monitors hazard materials while maintaining documentation and using CCTV.

This is a full-time, weekend-scheduled role with Thursday-Saturday 3:00pm-3:00am shifts. We seek a candidate with at least 2 years in Safety, Security or Loss Prevention, 18+ years old, and CPR/First Aid

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability and willingness to work non-traditional shifts and hours.
• Experience with CCTV preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of practical experience in Safety, Security, Loss Prevention.
• Able to work a varied schedule to include early mornings, swing shift, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• CPR/First Aide Certified or able to obtain certification through company provided training.

Responsibilities

• Oversees and observes employees entering and exiting the building.
• Walks through and around the exterior of the entire facility conducting Safety/Hazard/Security audits.
• Continually monitors the hazard materials storeroom and cleans up spills.
• Walks throughout the facility and conducts general investigations.
• Use computers and office equipment.
• Must read Standard Operating Procedures, hear fire/security alarms and phones, and be able to monitor CCTV.
• Conducts safety trainings.

$16.60 to $20.80 per hour
