Job summary

Saks Global is seeking an Asset Protection Investigator to join our on-site team at the Distribution Center. You will work to prevent losses from theft and fraud, report to the Asset Protection Manager, and support store operations programs.

Key responsibilities include monitoring for indicators of theft, conducting investigations, and preparing detailed reports on incidents and audits. 1+ year experience in LP/AP and strong communication are required.

YOU WILL BE:

As an Asset Protection Investigator, you will work as a member of our Asset Protection team to prevent losses from external and internal theft and fraud. You will work on-site in our Distribution Center and report to the Asset Protection Manager.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Maintain the general safety of customers, employees, and the store
• Assess and help with emergency situations
• Perform monitoring and surveillance activities to identify indicators for internal or external theft, and fraud
• Conduct external and internal investigations, documenting all Asset Protection incidents properly
• Prepare and complete reports relative to all theft incidents, merchandise recoveries, accident investigations, and audits
• Reduce and control loss of inventory through audits and training
• Support and participate in store operations programs

SALARY AND OTHER BENEFITS:

The hourly rate for this position is between $ 21.53 - $26.91 per hour. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include market, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

Compensation for this role varies by geographic location. The listed range reflects multiple markets, including higher-cost areas. Actual starting pay will be determined based on work location, experience, and other job-related factors.
