Job summary

Saks Global, the worlds leading multi-brand luxury retailer, seeks an Asset Protection Investigator to join the on-site distribution center team. You will help prevent losses from theft and fraud while reporting to the Asset Protection Manager.

You will perform surveillance, investigations, and prepare reports; maintain safety and support store operations programs. A 1+ year track record in Loss Prevention/Asset Protection and strong written and verbal communication are required.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in Loss Prevention/Asset Protection.
• Strong customer-focused mindset.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic proficiency with computer software.
• Investigative and conflict management skills.
• Able to respond quickly to changes in direction.

Responsibilities

• Maintain overall safety of customers, employees, and the facility.
• Assess and respond to emergencies.
• Monitor and identify indicators of theft and fraud.
• Conduct external and internal investigations and document incidents.
• Prepare and file reports on thefts, recoveries, accidents, and audits.
• Reduce inventory loss through audits and training.
• Support store operations programs.

You Will Be

As an Asset Protection Investigator, you will work as a member of our Asset Protection team to prevent losses from external and internal theft and fraud. You will work on‑site in our Distribution Center and report to the Asset Protection Manager.

What You Will Do

• Maintain the general safety of customers, employees, and the store
• Assess and help with emergency situations
• Perform monitoring and surveillance activities to identify indicators for internal or external theft, and fraud
• Conduct external and internal investigations, documenting all Asset Protection incidents properly
• Prepare and complete reports relative to all theft incidents, merchandise recoveries, accident investigations, and audits
• Reduce and control loss of inventory through audits and training
• Support and participate in store operations programs

Salary And Other Benefits

The hourly rate for this position is between $ 21.53 - $26.91 per hour. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include market, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
