Job description

Primary Responsibilities:

1. Support Shrinkage and Safety Awareness programs by assisting Store Management in communicating current topics related to shrinkage and safety.
2. Conduct surveillance activities, including monitoring customer and contractor activities via CCTV and floor observations to detect theft, fraud, or suspicious behavior. Collect investigative intelligence related to ORC activity and fraud, and report infractions of company policy to AP and/or store management.
3. Detain and interview suspects in accordance with local laws and company policies, including customers and contractors suspected of theft. Report suspected fraud to AP management or Market Investigations as necessary.
4. Maintain records by creating and managing documentation using approved methods, properly retaining evidence, and handling the disposition of recovered merchandise.
5. Participate in court hearings, update relevant files, and maintain relationships with local law enforcement agencies.
6. Support Safety programs by identifying and addressing potential hazards, conducting incident investigations, and completing related reports.
7. Assist in internal investigations by collecting evidence and acting as an interview witness under the direction of AP management.
8. Perform all responsibilities in accordance with company policies and procedures to drive sales and profit. Applicants must be 18 years or older and possess a high school diploma or GED.
