Hibbett I City Gear seeks individuals with great integrity to fill positions of store loss prevention. The Asset Protection Associate is a highly visible position; the ideal candidate must have a positive attitude and pay great attention to details.

Responsibilities

1. Maintain floor awareness, observing behavior and body language indicative of potential theft.
2. Communicate suspicious behavior to managers.
3. Ensure all associates' personal belongings are checked prior to leaving the store.
4. Thank customers for their business and invite them back.
5. Be prepared to stop and confront customers observed concealing merchandise.
6. Provide detailed information to police regarding stolen merchandise.
7. Protect company assets and financial information by ensuring internal control procedures are effective and reporting potential fraud risks to management.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service skills for interacting with store personnel and customers.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills across all organizational levels.
• Attention to detail, time management, and ability to multi-task.
• Ability to stand throughout the entire shift.

Hourly Rate: $15.50 - $20.20 (range $17.00 - $18.70)
