Job summary

Job description

Support facility security staff
Monitor and maintain access control equipment
Address employee health and safety hazards and issues
Support implementation of industry-specific and OSHA guidelines
Maintain emergency response personnel directories and summon emergency services as necessary
Conduct compliance, safety, and food safety audits
Create audit reports and analyze workers’ compensation claims
Deliver assigned project activities and tasks
Support process updates and changes and solve simple business issues
Gather, interpret, review, and quality-check data across systems
Create reports using existing models and templates
Suggest tasks for automation using technology
Support instructors and learning facilitators in training programs
Solicit feedback from training participants and maintain training best-practice repositories
Explain relevant processes and procedures to contractors
Communicate results and recommendations using data and fact-based information
Support process improvement strategies, investigations, and root cause analysis
Implement environmental policies and procedures and promote environmental issues
Explain department functions, workflows, SOPs, and One Best Way processes
Complete assignments by collaborating with managers, coworkers, customers, and business partners
Uphold Walmart values, integrity, compliance, teamwork, customer service, and continuous improvement

Requirements

• 6 months experience as a Walmart associate OR 1 year's work experience or coursework in criminal justice, loss prevention/asset protection, safety, compliance, or security-related field
• Knowledge of asset protection policies, practices, guidelines, environmental health and safety laws and regulations
• Knowledge of OSHA guidelines, compliance safety, food safety auditing, regulatory inspection processes, and emergency evacuation plans
• Knowledge of stakeholder identification, communication, engagement, and management
• Data collection, digital applications and systems, and data governance knowledge
• Knowledge of training methodologies and training content development processes
• Knowledge of business communication styles, communication channels, interpersonal skills, and relationship building
• Knowledge of environmental policies, procedures, and applicable federal, state, and local laws
• Knowledge of organizational processes, root cause analysis, department workflows, SOPs, and OBW processes
• Preferred: Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint and OneDrive
• Must comply with company policies, procedures, ethics, and integrity standards
