Salary range for Asset Owner: between $80,000 and $93,000 USD annually, based on experience.

At our facility in Schenectady, you can develop your full potential, sustainably, by applying your expertise within the Packaging team as the Asset Owner:

  • Oversee operator performance in machine operations, focusing on skill development and production strategy improvement
  • Train and coach operators on Cleaning, Inspection, and Lubrication (CIL) tasks
  • Develop and implement line-specific action plans, standardize maintenance procedures, and recommend initiatives to boost efficiency and productivity
  • Coordinate resources to address potential work conflicts, review performance from the previous 24 hours, and conduct daily performance analyses
  • Contribute to post-shutdown reviews by providing data analysis and proposing corrective actions during Line Centric Team (LCT) meetings
  • Support divisional goals in health and safety, productivity, quality, and continuous improvement, including 5S initiatives
  • Manage documentation by creating training materials for hourly employees and developing, updating, and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

  • College diploma or degree (Bachelor’s in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering – asset)
  • Expertise in Lean Production System principles and strong attention to detail
  • Proven ability to lead, coach, and mentor teams
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Excellent communication, follow-up, and interpersonal skills
  • Collaborative, adaptable, and autonomous
  • Problem-solving skills and effective in navigating complex situations
  • Experience with SAP and Power BI (asset)
  • Six Sigma certification – Green or Black Belt (asset)
