Job summary

Plus Power is seeking an Asset Manager to oversee day-to-day operations of its portfolio of utility-scale standalone battery energy storage systems (BESS). You will collaborate across Front Office, Analytics, Finance, Legal, and Engineering Procurement to ensure top-tier asset management and contractor coordination.

You will monitor KPIs, analyze performance, manage budgets, and ensure compliance with NERC/ISO procedures while supporting pre-construction and handover activities and maintaining

Qualifications

• 5+ years in renewable energy asset management.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, economics, business or related field.
• Experience with BESS/SCADA terms; ERCOT exposure is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of a portfolio of utility-scale stand-alone battery storage systems (BESS).
• Monitor asset performance and KPIs to identify anomalies and improve plant performance.
• Provide analysis, reporting and recommendations to senior leadership.
• Coordinate budgets with Accounting and Analytics Services.
• Manage O&M and third-party agreements to ensure service provider compliance.
• Coordinate third-party contractor maintenance schedules with minimal production impact.
• Coordinate outages and maintenance including incident investigation and resolution.
• Conduct risk assessments and initiate preventive/corrective actions.
• Support pre-construction engineering, EPC and development with review of plant designs and contracts.
• Help manage internal handover of BESS from construction to operations.
• Manage compliance contractors for adherence to NERC/ISO procedures and training.
• Ensure compliance with all project operating agreements.
