Job summary

East Point Energy seeks an Asset Manager to lead operations and management of grid-scale storage assets. You will implement asset management strategies, work with EPC/Finance teams, and ensure successful delivery of projects.

The role emphasizes safety, performance, and data-driven optimization, with travel ~25% and a strong preference for Charlottesville on-site work. You will collaborate across Development, Operations, and Trading to optimize returns, manage O&M contracts, and evolve the asset

Qualifications

4-year university degree in engineering, construction/project management, business or related field.
3+ years of asset management experience in energy generation projects.
2+ years in operations and management of grid-scale battery storage projects.

Responsibilities

Oversee safety, environmental, quality, and performance at operating facilities.
Manage the operations process, planning, control, and performance improvement.
Lead and attend on-site project meetings.
Forecast and manage OPEX budget for projects.
Report key performance indicators of assets.
Collaborate on power trading strategies and operational plans.
Build dashboards and data analyses to optimize asset performance.
