Responsibilities

  • Maintain inventory of network assets and ensure asset tracking systems are current.
  • Oversee lifecycle management of hardware and software assets in accordance with CBP policy.
  • Coordinate with field teams for asset issuance, recovery, and disposition.
  • Conduct periodic audits and reconcile inventory records with physical assets.
  • Generate compliance and asset status reports for stakeholders.

Skills

About the Opportunity

DMI, LLC is seeking a Asset Manager to join us.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain inventory of network assets and ensure asset tracking systems are current
  • Oversee lifecycle management of hardware and software assets in accordance with CBP policy
  • Coordinate with field teams for asset issuance, recovery, and disposition
  • Conduct periodic audits and reconcile inventory records with physical assets
  • Generate compliance and asset status reports for stakeholders
Qualifications

Education and Years of Experience:

  • BS 5-7 Years, MS 3-5, PhD 0-2

Required and Desired Skills/Certifications:

  • Proficiency with asset management tools and systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Remedy)
  • Understanding of ITIL practices related to asset lifecycle
  • Strong Excel and reporting skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, or IT-related field
  • 3+ years of IT asset or logistics management experience
Additional Requirements
  • Successful completion of a Public Trust background investigation and/or a Public Trust clearance.
  • Familiarity with federal procurement regulations
  • Experience managing telecommunications or network equipment
  • Ability to support physical asset audits across distributed sites
