Job summary

Black & Veatch's Infrastructure Advisory is seeking a Principal, Asset Management Systems SME in Water/Wastewater/Local Government to lead engagements and develop new offerings. You will identify opportunities, manage client engagements, and guide architecture and integration of Trimble Cityworks/CentralSquare solutions.

The role requires strong business development capabilities, deep asset management expertise, and the ability to work in a hybrid environment with travel up to 50%.

Qualifications

• 8+ years working with Water/Wastewater & Local Government clients.
• 5+ years with Trimble or CentralSquare solutions.
• Strong asset management and cloud infrastructure knowledge.
• Proven leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement.
• Experience delivering advisory services in Asset Management and Work/Field Service management.
• Background in utilities or public sector implementations.

Responsibilities

• Lead business development for Asset Management Systems offerings for Water, Wastewater and Local Government.
• Articulate the business case for implementing Asset Management Systems.
• Identify potential clients and manage client engagements.
• Define and lead architectural strategy for Trimble and CentralSquare implementations.
• Design scalable, secure, high-performance Trimble/CentralSquare solutions.
• Oversee system integrations with Trimble, CentralSquare and third-party platforms.
• Translate functional needs into technical architecture and integration plans.
• Manage client expectations within project scope.
• Develop and defend conclusions and implementation plans.
• Transfer capabilities and mentor team members.
