Coda Search has partnered with an internationally respected asset management firm in New York, NY. The Staff Accountant will contribute to the monthly close, prepare financial statements, maintain the general ledger, and support the year-end audit within the corporate accounting team.

The role also involves cash management activities and collaboration with the Assistant Controller. A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance and at least two years of accounting experience are required.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Minimum of two years of accounting experience.
• Previous experience in asset management or financial services is advantageous.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.

Responsabilidades

• Contribute to the monthly close by preparing balance sheet reconciliations, accruals, and adjusting entries.
• Maintain the general ledger and reconcile accounts.
• Handle end-to-end accounts payable, coding and processing more than 50 invoices each week.
• Oversee all incoming cash receipts and bank deposits.
• Compile schedules and workpapers supporting balance sheet accounts.
• Maintain a group of vendor accounts and confirm that vendor records are accurate.
• Support the year-end audit by compiling the necessary documentation.
