Job summary

The Chicago Cubs, through Marquee Development, seeks an Associate, Asset Management & Investments in Chicago, IL. This role supports underwriting, financial modeling, fund management and analytics, reporting to the SVP of Asset Management and Investments. Exempt, on-site with base salary in a generous compensation range.

Responsibilities include development of models, investment materials, budgeting, and process improvement, with a focus on data-driven decision making and AI-enabled workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Accounting, Economics, Business, Data Analytics, or related field.
• MBA preferred.
• Approximately 5+ years of experience in real estate private equity, acquisitions, development, investment banking, asset management, transaction advisory, or valuation.
• Strong experience building and reviewing complex real estate financial models.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability to manage multiple transactions and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain financial models for mixed-use developments and fund structures.
• Prepare investment committee materials and partner with SVP on opportunities.
• Support asset management, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
• Identify AI-enabled workflows to automate underwriting and reporting.
• Monitor portfolio performance and market data to inform decisions.
