Job summary

Spring11, an affiliate of Newmark, seeks an Asset Management Analyst to join our growing team in Atlanta. The role focuses on managing high-yield debt and equity positions for bank, REIT and private equity clients, supporting asset management functions across ground-up developments and transitional properties.

You will work with servicers, borrowers, lenders and consultants, perform draw reviews, lease analyses, and quarterly asset updates, and assist with underwriting and diligence activities

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Economics, Finance or related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in commercial real estate preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong financial and quantitative acumen for informed recommendations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• High attention to detail with strong organizational and multi-tasking abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment.

Responsibilities

• Support senior asset managers in monitoring performance relative to underwriting, budget and covenants.
• Coordinate with servicers, borrowers, lenders and construction consultants.
• Manage draw review process for ground-up construction projects of varying sizes.
• Monitor performance of value-add properties including lease analysis and loan covenants.
• Complete quarterly asset updates and present to clients as required.
• Re-underwrite assets semi-annually or annually and support diligence and underwriting.
• Construct monthly debt waterfalls and coordinate with Treasury for proper fund administration.
• Collaborate with Servicing, Insurance, Tax and other departments to maintain loan compliance.
