Job summary

Bayview Asset Management is seeking an Accountant to oversee key accounting and financial reporting for the firm and its affiliates in Coral Gables, FL. You will drive monthly and year-end close, prepare complex entries, reconcile accounts, and support audits with cross-functional teams. The role requires 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience, strong U.S.

GAAP knowledge, and advanced Excel skills. This onsite position partners with Finance, Tax, and Operations to ensure accurate

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
CPA designation and/or Master's degree preferred.
Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in asset management or financial services.
Experience with month-end close, account reconciliations, financial reporting, and audit support.

Responsibilities

Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes for multiple entities.
Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and schedules per U.S. GAAP.
Analyze balance sheet and income statement accounts and explain variances.
Maintain internal controls and improve accounting processes and reporting.
Prepare financial reporting packages and management reports.
Coordinate with FP&A, Treasury, Operations, Legal, Tax, and other partners.
Support internal and external audits and respond to inquiries.
Mentor junior accounting staff as applicable.
