Job summary

Black & Veatch is seeking an experienced Manager to deliver strategic asset management projects within the Infrastructure Advisory organization, focusing on asset investment planning for electric utilities. You will join a team of professionals aligned with Black & Veatch’s purpose and influence how assets are planned and invested.

In this role you will lead engagements with gas and electric utilities, develop value models, assess risks, and guide client workshops while shaping scalable

Qualifications

• Electrical Engineering degree with electric distribution experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• IAM Certificate in Asset Management preferred.
• Experience consulting with electric utilities.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform and manage asset investment plan development projects.
• Lead portfolio optimization and prioritization efforts.
• Apply risk analysis methodologies to asset programs.
• Develop and monetize asset management benefits.
• Create asset management plans and conduct ISO 55001 assessments.
• Lead client meetings, prepare presentations, and manage budgets.

Education

Electrical Engineering Degree with Electric Distribution experience

Professional Engineer License

IAM Certificate in Asset Management

Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience
