Job summary

Perdue Farms is seeking a Mechanical Integrity Manager within Perdue AgriBusiness to lead the asset integrity program across facilities. You will oversee inspection, testing, maintenance, and risk-based strategies for critical equipment to sustain safe, reliable operations.

This role partners with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, EH&S and Capital Projects for compliance and performance improvements. The position emphasizes strategic leadership, technical expertise, RBI implementation, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Engineering Technology, Reliability Engineering, or related technical discipline.
• Minimum of 7 years in Mechanical Integrity, Reliability Engineering, Inspection, Maintenance, Asset Management, or related industrial environments.
• Minimum of 3 years of leadership or supervisory experience.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA PSM requirements and Mechanical Integrity programs.
• Experience with pressure vessels, piping, tanks, and related systems.
• Knowledge of ASME/API/NFPA codes and standards.
• Experience with RCA/FMEA and risk assessments.
• Experience with CMMS systems, preferably IBM Maximo.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Mechanical Integrity Program across the facility, ensuring compliance with standards and PSM requirements.
• Develop inspection, testing, maintenance, and risk mitigation strategies for critical equipment.
• Maintain asset integrity management systems, records, and regulatory documentation.
• Coordinate internal and third-party inspections including NDT and condition monitoring.
• Lead root cause investigations and implement corrective actions.
• Develop RBI and reliability strategies to optimize asset performance and life cycles.
• Collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering and Capital Projects on repairs and capital plans.
• Provide expertise in design, corrosion mechanisms, and fitness-for-service evaluations.
