About the Job

The primary function of the Asset Integrity (AI) Mechanical Software Lead is to ensure Eastman’s mechanical asset integrity standards and work processes are implemented within our software systems to meet or exceed our AI goals across the Corporation. These systems include, but are not limited to, GE APM, PCMS, SAP/AssetView, and related PowerBI reports.

Responsibilities

  1. Provide software expertise for all sites using Asset Integrity software systems to manage mechanical assets
  2. Act as the business lead on projects including, but not limited to:
  • GE APM modules – FMEA/RCM, Operator Rounds, Inspection Manager, Thickness Monitoring, Risk Based Inspection, Asset Criticality Assessment, & Asset Health
  • MISTRAS PCMS
  • SAP/AssetView
  • PowerBI
  • Manage security for software, utilizing or creating LDAP groups, and developing security configurations with IT support
  • Work with Software Support Lead to manage changes to security and update systems for new applications or process modifications
  • Design work processes using dashboards, queries, reports to support and enhance user workflows
  • Follow established software standards, communicate requirements to IT, test configurations, and resolve issues
  • Train and support users, using corporate change management processes
  • Collaborate with SAP team to establish or update functional location, equipment, and work records
  • Troubleshoot system errors and support software upgrades and dashboard development
  • Develop and deliver user training, including classroom, virtual, and field sessions
  • Network with other software support teams to standardize software use and share best practices
  • Perform other related duties as assigned, including fieldwork (up to 25%) and travel (up to 25%)
  • Qualifications

    Required

    • High school diploma or GED
    • Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook)
    • Physical capability to perform inspection duties in operating areas
    • Strong communication and teamwork skills
    • Commitment to safety and adherence to safety expectations

    Preferred Additional Qualifications

    • Two-year or four-year technical degree
    • Courses in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint, PowerBI
    • Experience with PowerBI, GE APM (Meridium), SAP/AssetView, ProCal, ProjectWise
    • Experience in training, presentations, or small group speaking
    • Mechanic, CSM, or operator apprenticeship graduate
    • Knowledge of NEMA, NEC, IEC, IEEE standards

    Additional qualities include being responsible, dependable, able to multitask, plan and lead meetings effectively, and interact constructively with end users and management.
