Job summary

Cambrex Corp. in Charles City, IA is hiring a Mechanical Integrity Engineer to manage the mechanical integrity and inspection programs for process equipment. You will ensure safety, reliability, and regulatory compliance under OSHA 29 CFR 1910.119, Subpart H, to minimize catastrophic releases.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering with applicable experience in mechanical integrity.
5 years experience with NDE methods and techniques used to support mechanical integrity programs.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and climb throughout the workday.

Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and maintain the mechanical integrity program to ensure safety and reliability of equipment.
Plan, coordinate, and oversee inspections of critical equipment, including NDT and thickness gauging.
Ensure compliance with inspection schedules and regulatory requirements (OSHA, ASME, API).
Review and analyze inspection data to identify trends and concerns.
Maintain documentation on mechanical integrity programs and inspections for audits.
