Job summary

EQT is seeking an Asset Engineer in Pittsburgh, PA to oversee production forecasting and provide engineering support for upstream and midstream projects. You will lead cross-functional teams, develop forecasts with ComboCurve, and deliver insights using PowerBI and scripting.

The role requires 5+ years in asset engineering, a bachelor’s degree in engineering, and strong communication skills to present results to management. Remote work is available with certain state restrictions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering field and 5+ years of asset engineering experience.
• Active ComboCurve user with relevant certificates.
• Proficient in PowerBI or Spotfire; strong data skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop production forecasts using decline curve analysis and modeling to support monthly cycles.
• Perform production surveillance to identify performance issues and optimize EURs.
• Provide cross-disciplinary engineering support for production, midstream, and commercial teams.
• Support development planning by understanding gathering hydraulics and forecasting impacts.
• Deliver risk analyses for well proposals, workovers, and A&D opportunities.
• Lead project planning meetings and present results to management.
• Develop insights and reports using coding or data visualization to improve efficiency.
