Job summary

Philip Morris International (PMI) is seeking a maintenance-focused professional to manage manufacturing assets and maximize reliability and uptime. The role emphasizes implementing effective maintenance strategies and continuous improvement across safety, quality, and environmental standards.

You will collaborate with production and engineering teams, maintain asset records, and manage budgets for maintenance and spare parts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in production, maintenance, or engineering within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong English communication skills.
• Experience with asset management and preventive/predictive maintenance methodologies.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, organizational, and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with PMI and regulatory requirements related to Safety, Quality, Sustainability, and Environmental standards.
• Support equipment installation, risk assessments, documentation, and change management activities.
• Develop and implement cost-effective maintenance strategies and standards.
• Plan and schedule maintenance activities to optimize equipment performance and uptime.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records in SAP, Maximo, CMMS, and related systems.
• Partner with production and engineering teams on equipment specifications, purchases, and improvements.
• Manage equipment data, asset records, and technology documentation.
• Serve as a key contact for OEMs and technology stakeholders.
• Develop and manage maintenance and spare parts budgets.
• Analyze equipment reliability and downtime trends to drive productivity improvements.
• Establish spare parts requirements and inventory levels.
• Support loss elimination, continuous improvement, and benchmarking initiatives.
• Participate in training, pillar activities, and standard work implementation.
• Coach and develop team capabilities in preventive maintenance and troubleshooting.
