Job summary

City and County of San Francisco is seeking an Asset Coordinator for the Airport Integrated Operations Center at SFO. The role focuses on real-time asset management and coordination across landside, terminal, and airside operations to ensure safe, efficient guest experiences.

You will monitor multiple airport systems, collaborate with airlines, FAA, and ground teams, and implement mitigation plans to optimize asset utilization in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Three years of full-time professional administrative experience in areas such as program/office/operations management, budgeting, or contracts/grants.
• Education substitution allowed on a year-for-year basis with additional qualifying experience.
• Desirable: deep understanding of airport and airline operations, asset optimization, and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Make real-time asset assignment adjustments based on conditions and policies.
• Monitor airport operations via Aircraft Movement Systems and other tools to adjust schedules and responses.
• Use technical applications to optimize gating, remote parking, check-in counters, baggage systems, and assets.
• Direct field response teams and coordinate with stakeholders to resolve issues.
• Develop and enhance asset response plans using performance data and operational forecasts.
• Collaborate with Operations Planning and other teams to improve guest experiences.
