  • Perform inventory count verifications across a multi-million-dollar inventory.
  • Research FMIS system failures and inventory discrepancies and coordinate with appropriate departments to resolve them according to company policies and procedures.
  • Create weekly metrics and reports to measure turn-in activity, inputs and outputs.
  • Maintain warehouse security.
  • Support FAA and DOT regulatory compliance in departmental activities.
  • Organize and maintain quarantine-part areas, including accurate condition codes and bin locations.
  • Maintain the Material Scrap Evaluation process and determine required actions for parts in quarantine.
  • Complete required FMIS transactions to properly disposition parts processed through the Material Scrap Evaluation.
  • Coordinate with Support Shops to ensure parts identified for physical destruction are available when required.
  • Ensure surplus inventory has accurate condition codes and bin locations and is stored appropriately for potential future sale.
  • Track parts in robbed status and coordinate with other departments to help return parts to serviceable condition.
  • Maintain clean and orderly warehouse shelving and work surfaces.
What you'll need to succeed:
  • Prior warehouse experience.
  • At least one year of experience as a Material Specialist or equivalent.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of FMIS, including the Orphan Item screen and Transaction Desktop, with the ability to research and analyze parts inventory within the system.
