Job summary

The Preventive Maintenance & Compliance Specialist at Leidos Biomedical Research, Inc. will develop and manage asset identification and tracking programs to ensure reliable, compliant operations across Frederick facilities.

The role emphasizes maintaining comprehensive asset inventories in Maximo, coordinating preventive maintenance, and ensuring adherence to EHS/OSHA policies and safety standards in a high-security biomedical environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least five years of craft/trade-related experience in maintenance, facilities, or asset management.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and work in varied environments.
• Experience using CMMS or EAM systems.
• Ability to obtain security clearance and pass drug testing.

Responsibilities

• Conduct field surveys of mechanical spaces to verify asset IDs and proper labeling.
• Develop and oversee asset life cycle maintenance programs to minimize downtime.
• Review and update Safety Plans for all assets to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Maintain and revise Energy Control Procedures (ECPs) for safety compliance.
• Collaborate with shop supervisors to update Job Plans for maintenance activities.
• Analyze repair data to recommend upgrades, improvements, or replacements.
• Reconcile warehouse inventory with asset materials in Maximo.
