Elgen Staffing is assisting a business-focused law firm in New York seeking an Associate Attorney with expertise in Asset Based Finance. The role involves transactions across aircraft, railcars, ships and other asset classes with opportunities for business development and client interaction.

The candidate should have 2–6 years of transactional experience at a law firm, a J.D. degree, and be admitted in New York or pursuing admission, with a hybrid work model and competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• 2–6 years of transactional experience at a law firm.
• Experience in asset-based/ leveraged/ secured lending or related areas.
• Drafting loan documents and managing loan transactions.
• Experience handling multiple matters concurrently.
• Interest in transactions involving aircraft, railcars, ships and esoteric assets.
• J.D. degree and good academic credentials; NY admission in good standing or in process.
