The Asset-Based Field Examiner supports the Asset-Based Lending Department by conducting in-depth field examinations of both existing and prospective borrowers.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate financial records, collateral eligibility, and operational conditions to assess risk and ensure loan compliance.
• Prepare work papers to support field exam conclusions and audit trail requirements.
• Prioritize and summarize field examination findings in a detailed report outlining results, borrower risks, and recommendations.
• Discuss audit findings with managers, Relationship Managers, Credit department, and other partners.
• Assist with month-end borrowing base analysis, review and reconcile borrowing base certificates, and identify discrepancies.
• Support loan fundings by verifying collateral validity and sufficiency before approval.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Accounting or Finance, with two years of experience as an ABL Field Examiner or equivalent audit experience.
• Good analytical, organizational, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Asset Based Lending Field Training required.
• Reliable transportation for domestic travel to client locations.
