Our Professional Services development team is growing, and we are seeking an Asset Architect. The Asset Development group is focused on delivering products in a rapid development cycle to augment and extend Five9 core product offerings. This role consists of rapid product development leveraging modern development methodologies and tools that automate the definition, architecture, development and delivery of software products. The person will be expected to work in a team environment via web conferences, and chat collaboration. The person must be a self-starter, able to work independently. Required Skills:

• Strong knowledge of Cloud infrastructure best-practices, preferably Google Cloud
• Excellent understanding of the continuous integration practice
• Proficiency in specifying and implementing test and production environment infrastructure
• Strong software development background. Full stack developer
• Experience working with end-to-end tool chains including project definition and organization, source control, linting, test automation
• Familiarity with Jira and Confluence a plus
• Basic: JavaScript, Typescript, HTML, Node.js
• Preferred: Typescript, Nest.js, Vue
• Toolchain: Visual Studio Code, Jira, Confluence, Git
• An understanding of cloud-based software development considerations and architectures (GCP, AWS, etc.) and web-based API interfaces (SOAP, REST, AJAX, WebSocket, etc.)
• Proficiency in using Unix-based operating systems
  
  

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in application or integration software development. Application development related to Computer-Telephony Integration (CTI) with systems such as Cisco ICM/UCCE, Genesys, or Avaya is a plus
• 3+ years of development experience in web-based applications (HTML5, JavaScript) and associated tooling such as jQuery, Backbone.js, Bootstrap, Require JS, Ext JS, Marionette, etc
• 1+ year of experience with web application hosting services such as Heroku, OpenShift, or self-hosted Node.js services
• BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience is required
  
  

Work Location: This role is fully remote for candidates who reside outside the 50 mile radius of our San Ramon office. For candidates who reside within 50 miles of our San Ramon location, this role is Hybrid and would require 3 days a week (M, W, TH) in our San Ramon office.

Additionally, the total compensation package for this position may also include an annual performance bonus, stock, and/or other applicable incentive compensation plans.

All compensation and benefits are subject to the requirements and restrictions set forth in the applicable plan documents and any written agreements between the parties.

The US base salary range for this role is below.

$90,900—$141,800 USD
