Description

IT Asset Administrator

Manages the lifecycle of company technology assets from procurement and receiving through assignment, refresh, recovery, and secure disposal.

Maintains the authoritative asset inventory and reconciles records across procurement, endpoint-management, directory, ticketing, and financial systems.

Develops asset-management procedures, equipment standards, lifecycle schedules, and inventory-control requirements.

Analyzes asset utilization, age, warranty status, licensing, and replacement needs to support budgeting and refresh planning.

Coordinates equipment purchases, warranties, repairs, returns, leasing, recycling, and vendor services.

Maintains chain-of-custody and disposition records for devices and storage media in accordance with security and retention requirements.

Supports internal, client, financial, and compliance audits by producing asset records and remediating identified discrepancies.

Identifies opportunities to reduce costs, improve standardization, recover unused equipment, and strengthen asset accountability.

Support Specialist 2 (nice to have)

Independently investigates and resolves escalated endpoint, identity, application, connectivity, and access-management incidents.

Performs technical analysis across multiple systems to identify root causes and determine appropriate corrective actions.

Administers endpoint-management, identity, collaboration, and remote-support platforms within assigned areas of responsibility.

Leads workstation deployments, application rollouts, office technology changes, and other assigned operational projects.

Develops scripts, configurations, technical documentation, and repeatable procedures that improve service reliability and efficiency.

Evaluates recurring incidents and recommends changes to system configurations, support standards, or operational processes.

Provides technical guidance and escalation support to junior support staff.

Coordinates complex issues with infrastructure, security, software vendors, and business stakeholders.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.75/hr.
