Job summary

ProSync Technology Group, LLC seeks an Assessment Lead to oversee independent testing and evaluation of security controls, validate posture, and produce formal assessment reports.

You will manage assessment teams, perform SP 800-53A based test cases, conduct interviews, evidence evaluation, and coordinate with ISSO for alignment. A minimum of 8 years RMF experience is required, along with CISSP/CISM and CEH certifications, and a Secret clearance with the ability to obtain TS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in any field; technical specialization preferred.
• 8+ years RMF assessment experience.
• Familiar with SP 800‑53A, assessment test cases, and evidence evaluation.
• Experience producing SARs, worksheets and risk ratings.
• CISSP, CISM or equivalent certification is required.
• CEH or equivalent penetration testing certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead control assessments, interviews, sampling and technical validation.
• Produce SARs, test procedures, risk ratings and summary findings.
• Act as primary technical authority for RMF assessment accuracy.
• Execute SP 800‑53A test cases and artifact evaluation.
• Track assessment evidence and document results.
• Coordinate with ISSO for cross‑department alignment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The Assessment Lead manages assessment teams and ensures rigorous evaluation of controls following DoS assessment methodology.

• Leads control assessments, interviews, sampling procedures, and technical validation activities.
• Produces SARs, test procedures, risk ratings, and summary findings.
• Serves as primary technical authority for RMF assessment accuracy.

Operations & Tasks Overseen

• Execution of SP 800‑53A test cases
• Artifact evaluation and determination of control effectiveness
• Assessment evidence tracking and documentation
• Findings development and briefing delivery
• Coordination with ISSO Support for cross‑department alignment

• 8+ years of RMF assessment experience.
• Strong familiarity with SP 800‑53A, assessment test cases, and evidence evaluation.
• Experience producing SARs, worksheets, and risk ratings.
• A CISSP, CISM or equivalent certification is required.
• CEH or equivalent Pen Testing certification is required.

• A minimum Secret security clearance is required to be considered for this position with the ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance. (We are not able to sponsor candidates for a security clearance)
  

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• A Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited college or university in any field. (A technical specialization is preferred)
