Compass Health, Inc. is seeking an Assessment Clinician in Raymore, MO. You will perform timely behavioral health assessments and guide clients into services that support their wellness goals.

The role emphasizes access to care, equity, and trauma-informed practice within a nonprofit setting. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate enrollments and provide brief therapy when appropriate.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in counseling, social work, or psychology is required.
• PLPC, PLMFT, or LMSW in Missouri is required.
• LPC, LMFT, or LCSW in Missouri is preferred.
• At least three years of experience is preferred.
• Working knowledge of DSM-5 is required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive behavioral health assessments for individuals seeking care.
• Determine service needs and coordinate client enrollments across programs.
• Provide brief therapy and develop treatment plans where applicable.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic care.
• Support Open Access by guiding referral flow and client engagement.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation per agency and state standards.
• Provide culturally responsive and trauma-informed services to diverse populations.
• Respond to walk-in behavioral health crises.

As an Assessment Clinician (Internal title: Client Access Specialist), you’ll play a vital role in helping individuals access the care they need, right when they need it. You’ll provide timely, compassionate assessments and guide clients into services that support their wellness and recovery goals. Requirements, Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
