Carolina Outreach is seeking a compassionate Psychiatric Nurse (RN) to join our Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) Team in North Carolina. You will oversee medical/clinical components, monitor medications, and deliver psychopharmacologic and medical services in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications include NC RN licensure, valid driver's license, and completion of DMH-approved ACTT training.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with NC licensure and Board of Nursing credential.
• Must be licensed to practice in NC by the Board of Nursing.
• DMH-approved ACTT training or willingness to complete training.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and oversee all medical/clinical aspects of services delivered.
• Provide medication monitoring and documentation.
• Deliver psychopharmacologic and medical services within your scope of practice.
• Collaborate with ACT team members to monitor clinical status and response to treatment.
• Conduct crisis assessments, symptom management, and intervention planning.
• Provide individual counseling, substance abuse treatment, and psycho-educational support.
• Assist in creating transition plans when clients move in and out of services.
