Job summary

Canam Steel Corp seeks self-motivated candidates to join our Buckeye, AZ production team. Position is full-time with benefits, offering a total compensation package including base pay, shift differential, overtime, and production bonuses.

The Assembl y Worker will read drawings, assemble components, weld or clamp parts, and perform quality checks while maintaining a safe, organized workspace. 2nd shift, Monday–Friday with possible weekend hours. Training provided for newcomers.

We are looking for self-motivated and safety-conscious candidates who would like to join our production team in our Buckeye, AZ location!

New employees can earn $56K in total compensationwhen working at Canam Steel Corp for a 40-50 hour work week. This includes the base rate, shift differential, overtime, retention and production bonuses.

There are additional ways to earn including referral bonuses and mentoring incentives.

The Assembl y Worker is responsible for assembling products according to specifications and quality standards.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Assemble components according to engineering specifications.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and other manufacturing equipment to assemble products.
• Tack welds or clamps parts into position .
• Conduct quality checks on assembled products.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Adhere to safety protocols.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
• Regular, reliable, punctual and consistent attendance. Must be able to work regular and/or flexible hours or shifts, overtime, weekends as required .

Anticipated Pay Range

$20 / Hour + $2 Shift Differential overtime and weekly production bonuses

REQUIREMENTS:

• No experience necessary . On the job training provided .
• Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out written and oral instructions.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Frequent communication with others to exchange information.
• Frequent repetition of motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers.
• Frequent moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one worksite to another.
• Frequent lifting or moving objects up to 5 0 pounds in all directions.
• Constantly remaining in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods.
• Constantly thinking and processing information.
• Constantly maintaining concentration and focus on tasks.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

• Manufacturing floor with machinery.
• Exposure to airborne particles, loud noises, and extreme heat and cold.
• Use of personal protection equipment is required .
