Assembler Tester Tasks & Duties (What you'll do)

• Fabricate assemblies by measuring and cutting hoses to specified lengths according to manufacturing orders and drawings, within established tolerances.
• Check assembled products for correctness (quality control).
• Clean workpieces using files, brushes, snips, or grinders.
• Remove small quantities of metal with hand files and snips to ensure proper fit between parts.
• Test hoses or hose assemblies under pressure to ensure safety ratings.
• Mark leaks for subsequent repair.

Shift and Schedule

Day Shift: 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, Monday - Friday

Qualifications (Requirements / Skills)

• Experience preferred
• GED / High School Diploma
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
• Legal ability to work in the US
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment maintenance, safety management, controls, and instrumentation
• Strong reading comprehension skills for interpreting written instructions, blueprints, and diagrams
• Basic math skills for measuring parts and products
• Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift 30-50 pounds
