Job summary

National-Electrostatics-Corp is seeking an Assembly and Test Assistant in Middleton, WI to support assembling, modifying, testing, and installing accelerator components per company specifications. You will diagnose malfunctions, test with various equipment, and implement test parameters while adhering to safety standards.

The role requires strong mechanical aptitude, blueprint literacy, and the ability to work with technicians and engineers, using tools and safety practices for reliable product

Qualifications

• Associate degree preferred and hands-on mechanical experience
• Experience with manufacturing environment is a plus

Responsibilities

• Gather parts, drawings, and test data to follow procedures.
• Collaborate with technicians and engineers during assembly of accelerator systems/components.
• Provide hands-on support for assembly, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Calibrate and test electrical components.
• Perform maintenance, modification, and repair of parts using equipment procedures.
• Operate hand and power tools to fabricate equipment.
• Apply Quality Assurance processes to ensure tolerances and safety.
• Interface with customers and team members on technical discussions and solutions.
• Assist with loading/unloading shipments.
• Assist with shipping accelerator systems by crate creation and packaging after testing.
• Maintain safety procedures and obtain forklift, DOT HAZMAT, and crane certifications.
• Maintain a clean work environment for accurate builds.
