Job summary

VSSI Staffing Services is seeking an Assembly/Test Technician – Electronics to assist with testing, diagnosis, repair, and assembly of electronic server equipment in a welcoming shop environment in Wisconsin. This role requires basic electronics, computer hardware, assembly, or repair experience and offers $17.00 per hour with a 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM schedule.

The technician will test and troubleshoot servers, inspect equipment, perform QC testing, replace defective parts, and assemble components

Qualifications

• Basic electronics knowledge required (component identification, basic schematics).
• Experience with computer hardware and assemblies is helpful.
• Ability to read and follow written instructions and work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Test and troubleshoot servers to identify issues.
• Inspect and diagnose electronic equipment and perform QC checks.
• Remove/replace defective server parts and assemble components.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow repair procedures.

We are currently hiring anAssembly Technician – Electronicsto assist with the testing, diagnosis, repair, and assembly of electronic server equipment. This is a great opportunity for candidates with basic electronics, computer hardware, assembly, or repair experience.

Responsibilities

• Test and troubleshoot servers to identify issues
• Inspect and diagnose electronic equipment
• Perform basic quality control (QC) testing
• Remove and replace defective server parts/components
• Assemble components onto repair units
• Visually inspect repaired units for quality
• Follow work instructions and established repair procedures
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements

• Basic experience in electronics, computer hardware, assembly, repair, testing, or a related field
• Ability to identify and work with basic electronic/computer components
• Must be able to understand and communicate in English at approximately an80% proficiency level
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Good attention to detail
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Willingness to learn and be trained
