Job summary

Edwards US in Buffalo, NY is hiring an A&T Technician to support multiple work centers including electronics, pump module assembly, system assembly and final assembly. You will build and assemble modules, cables and dry pumps per engineered drawings, ensuring throughput and quality.

Follow procedures to meet output standards and assist with training to improve efficiency. The role emphasizes a safe, clean workspace, adherence to procedures, and collaboration with peers to maintain production

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Salary Range: $20.94 - $26.17 per hour

Your role

The primary mission of the A&T Technician is to support various work centers, including electronics, pump module assembly, system assembly & test, and final assembly, to ensure seamless production flow and high-quality output. The A&T Technician will primarily build and assemble modules, cables and dry pumps using engineered drawings and documented requirements. The A&T Technician is required to meet the build standard as defined in the assembly and test procedures and maintain a continuous throughput in their area of responsibility.

• 1. Assemble and test modules, cables and dry pumps in line with the daily production plan – focusing on quality and output targets.
• 2. Maintain a safe and clean work area.
• 3. Follows assembly and test instructions and procedures to meet output quality requirements.
• 4. Support the training of team members and collaborate to drive improvement and efficiency.
• 5. Maintaining a good working relationship with department colleagues and the supporting departments.
• 6. Communicate and seek guidance where there are errors or difficulty in build.
• 7. Perform quality work checks to ensure the assembly meets quality standards.

• Knowledge and experience of the principles of mechanical component constructions and assembly and test. Dependent on assigned area.
