Job summary

Crissair, Inc. is seeking an assembler to help produce hydraulic and pneumatic valve units from blueprints and instructions. The role involves seat preparation, use of specialized tools, and maintaining clean workstations in a safety-conscious environment.

Educational requirements include a high school diploma or GED with 3–6 months of related experience or training and solid English reading/writing skills. teamwork and adherence to daily tasks are essential.

Qualifications

• Good command of English, both written and spoken.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures manuals.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.

Responsibilities

• Assemble complete hydraulic and pneumatic valves and valve components per blueprints and assembly instructions.
• Perform seat preparation per work instruction including burnishing and coining seats, cleaning, and washing parts.
• Swedge or roll crimp valve fitting ends to form 37° angle.
• Operate small hand and power tools.
• Maintain all hand tools in clean, working condition.
• Notify supervisor of any equipment needing repair.
• Apply sealants and other chemicals as needed.
• Follow and complete daily job list as required by supervisor.
• Maintain accurate parts and part count for each job; verify parts from stockroom.
• Maintain a clean, organized workstation.
• Properly handle and dispose of chemicals; follow safety standards.

Assists technicians with assembling parts to form complete units or subassemblies using technical drawings, specialized tooling, and written directions. Performs seat preparations per applicable work instructions.

Compensation and Benefits Offered

Actual base salary offered to the selected applicant will be based on their work location, qualifications, job related skills, relevant education, and training experience.

Base hourly rate range Minimum $20.00 - Maximum $23.00 - Depending on Experience.
