Job summary

Staff Management | SMX is seeking an Assembly Associate in Greenfield, IN to join our manufacturing team. You will perform precise assembly, inspect parts quality, manage inventory of components and tools, and maintain a safe, organized workspace in a fast-paced environment.

Position offers first and second shifts, full-time or temp-to-hire options, with a pay rate of $17.00–$17.50 per hour and benefits including medical/dental insurance and paid training.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• Background check and drug test required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Able to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Must be able to stand for 8–12 hours.
• Willingness to work mandatory overtime.

Responsibilities

• Assemble components accurately according to specifications.
• Inspect quality of parts and materials used in production.
• Inventory parts and tools used in the assembling process.
• Adhere to company procedures and directives.
• Maintain tools and a clean, safe workspace.
• Operate essential equipment as required.
• Read a tape measure during assembly.
