Job summary

Dana is hiring an Assembly Technician for its Napoleon, Ohio plant startup. This full-time role supports the Ford Bronco and Ranger final assembly project in a brownfield facility.

The position offers 1st shift at $21/hour, 2nd shift with $0.60 extra, and 3rd shift with $0.50 extra. Candidates must lift up to 50 lbs, pass a pre-employment drug screen, and be available for daily and weekend overtime.

Assembly Technician - FULL TIME

This position is located in Napoleon, Ohio and is a brownfield plant start-up. The facility will be a Dana final assembly plant for the Ford Bronco and Ranger products.

1st shift: $21

2nd shift: $21, plus a $.60 shift differential

3rd shift: $21, plus a $.50 shift differential

Responsibilities:

• Performs repetitive line operations to assemble axles.
• Maintains the highest level of quality standards for our product.
• Performs specific tasks as assigned by the Supervisor/Team Leader.
• Must have good team work skills
• Conducts themselves in a manner that exhibits the Dana Operating System (DOS), promoting continuous improvement and inclusion across the plant
• Ability to train and operate all work stations across the assembly line
• Follows all safety guidelines
• Advocates safety practices to the rest of the production staff
• Ensures that the supervisor/team leader is made aware of all machine/equipment malfunctions (i.e., electrical, mechanical) maintenance or safety issues. Reports all incidents no matter how small.
• Ensures that any equipment or tool malfunction is immediately reported
• Checks finished product for problems or faults and isolate any damaged or inconsistent item immediately
• Anything else assigned by management

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Production and/or manufacturing experience is preferred.
• Candidate must have a good work history.
• Must have the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and repeat assembly actions repetitively.
• Must be able to pass Drug Test Pre employment verifications.
• Must be available to work daily and weekend overtime
