Job summary

The Assembly Operator role ensures quality product is shipped to customers by following operator instructions and recording data accurately. As an Assembly Operator, you will perform tasks safely, keep work stations organized, and collaborate with teammates to maintain efficient operations

Responsibilities

• Safely operate assembly equipment per instructions and quality standards.
• Ensure required materials and equipment are at the workstation.
• Keep work areas clean and organized at all times.
• Fill out documentation per instructions.
• Support coworkers and follow supervisor directions.
• Recognize quality vs. non-conforming products using criteria boards.
• Collect non-conforming parts for board updates as needed.
• Label products properly before boxing.
• Report damage or safety issues to your supervisor immediately.
• Help maintain shop safety and housekeeping, including packaging area.
• Initiate improvements through designated channels.
• Act to prevent non-conformities in product and process.
