Eaton’s AER FMC Fuel Motion Control Systems division is seeking an Assembly Technician- Overhaul & Repair for 1st shift in Euclid, OH. Join a dynamic MRO team responsible for overhaul of main engine fuel pumps and related components.

You will disassemble, inspect, document, and reassemble units following approved procedures and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in a safety-sensitive aerospace environment.

Qualifications

  • Must have mechanical assembly experience or maintenance of mechanical devices such as pumps or motors, with trade school considered.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and repair sketches.
  • Knowledge of FAA/EASA/CAAC procedures and compliant documentation practices.
  • Strong communication and organization skills; able to document work clearly.

Responsibilities

  • Disassemble, inspect, and reassemble customer field returns per overhaul manuals and official documents.
  • Prepare complete documentation packages for repaired/overhauled units.
  • Communicate with internal teams and external customers and auditors to ensure smooth workflow.
  • Maintain FAA regulatory training records and participate in CI initiatives.

Eaton’s AER FMC Fuel Motion Control Systems division is currently seeking a Assembly Technician- Overhaul & Repair 1st Shift. This role is in our Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) group. This position is based in Euclid, OH.The Euclid facility has approximately 330 employees and is a leader in the design, development, manufacture and delivery of Aerospace Fuel Pumping components, systems and services to the global aftermarket and OEM markets. The MRO Technician is responsible for the repair and overhaul of main engine fuel pumps, boost pumps and other commercial pumping devices. 1st Shift Hours: 7:00AM -3:30PMThe expected annual salary range for this role is $47000 - $69000 a year. This position is also eligible for overtime earnings and also a variable incentive program.Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.What you’ll do:Disassemble, inspect, disposition and reassemble customer field returns of high-volume units in accordance with component overhaul manuals and/or other approved technical documents. Perform all tasks to the FAA, EASA and CAAC approved procedures.Prepare a concise and accurate documentation package for every repaired or overhauled unit.Develop a clear understanding of all FAA, EASA, and CAAC approved procedures. Maintain a current knowledge of all requirements.Effectively communicate with coworkers to ensure the efficient processing of repairs through the MRO facility and with internal departments such as quality, customer service, stock room, etc. and external customers and auditors as required.Ensure that your required training/re-training requirements are achieved and properly documented for FAA record keeping. Participate in departmental continuous improvement projects.Perform other duties as directed by your supervisor, which could include receiving/shipping, final test, pump testing and non-destructive testing.Qualifications:Basic (Required) Qualifications:Minimum High School diploma/GED equivalent from an accredited institution + two (2) years experience in mechanical assembly and/or experience in the maintenance of mechanical devices such as pumps, motors OR, in lieu of HSD/GED degree, completion of accredited trade school or trade certificate program completion + ten (10) years experience in mechanical assembly, machining and/or maintenance of mechanical devices such as pumps, motors.This position requires access to export-controlled information. To conform to U.S. Government export regulations applicable to that information, applicant must be a U.S. person, defined as a (i) U.S. citizen or national, (ii) U.S. lawful, permanent resident (green card holder), (iii) refugee under 8 U.S.C. § 1157, or (iv) asylee under 8 U.S.C. § 1158.Eaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position.
