Job summary

Advantage Technical is hiring Assemblers in Walker, MI to support a major production project with a well‑respected defense contractor. No prior experience required; the team will train the right people from the ground up.

You will assemble wire harnesses and electronic subassemblies, following military-grade standards and detailed instructions. You’ll operate crimp presses, sonic welders, and wire strippers, wire components using layout boards, and perform visual and dimensional inspections.

Qualifications

• No experience or education required; strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Ability to follow written and verbal work instructions accurately.
• Reliability and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assemble wire harnesses and electronic subassemblies following military-grade standards and detailed work instructions.
• Operate equipment including crimp presses, sonic welders, and wire strippers.
• Route, wire, and assemble components using wire layout boards.
• Perform in-process and final visual/dimensional inspections.
• Prep, clean, pot, seal, mark, and install electrical hardware using hand and power tools.
• Support engineering on new product introductions and first articles.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
