Eaton is seeking an Assembly Technician IV - MVA Offload to join its ES AMER ARS PDCAD division in the United States. The position offers a $21.89 per hour wage and a variable incentive program. Core hours are Monday through Thursday, 5:30 AM to 3:30 PM.

You will assemble, wire, mount electrical equipment, and support engineering with development tasks. Responsibilities include quality checks, kanban management, and collaboration with supervision and engineering to meet production goals.

Qualifikationen

• Must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of one year's manufacturing experience in an industrial environment.
• SCMC certification or equivalent preferred.

• Fill out ISO checklists, quality checklists, customer checklists, feedback forms, and production lists.

• Regularly lift and assemble with heavy copper parts.
• Maintain Kanban inventory and report shortages.
• Inspect assemblies for loose hardware and cleanliness.
• Respond to change notices and customer adjustments.
• Assist engineering, drafting, and supervision with development work.
• Follow manufacturing information and ENOVIA drawings/instructions.
• Pull drawings for units using ENOVIA.

Eaton’s ES AMER ARS PDCAD division is currently seeking a Assembly Technician IV - MVA Offload. The hourly rate for this position is $21.89 per hour. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.

CORE HOURS: MONDAY THRU THURSDAY (5:30AM - 3:30PM)

What you’ll do:

• Assemble, wire, fit, and modify high complex assemblies, including non-standard such as Special Assembly, Power Companies, and Pull and Switch Sections, demonstrating advanced understanding.
• Fill out ISO checklists, quality checklists, customer checklists, feedback forms, and production lists for supervision, drafting, customer service, and engineering as required.
• Mount and install electrical equipment and perform wire operations as needed.
• Regularly lift and assemble with heavy copper parts.
• Maintain minimum levels of Kanban inventory and report shortages to appropriate operators.
• Inspect all assemblies for loose or missing hardware and cleanliness.
• Responding to change notices, customer requested adjustments, and development needs.
• Assist engineering, drafting, and supervision with customer-initiated development work.
• Work to manufacturing information, electrical and mechanical drawings, sketches, written or oral instructions from supervision or Engineering to established procedures.
• Pull drawings for units using ENOVIA.

POSITION CRITERIA:

• Strong verbal and written communication skills, persuasive skills, and analytical problem-solving skills
• Work with individuals and groups to effectively participate within team environment.
• Willing to work flexible hours and overtime in support of business needs.
• Utilize various hand and power tools, step ladder and crane to assemble and verify quality in a Lean environment.
• Must be able to use standard computer programs such as Microsoft Outlook/Teams and job specific programs such as ENOVIA.

Qualifications:

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of one year’s manufacturing experience in an industrial environment

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum of one (1) year in a SG37 assembly role.
• Completed qualifications through pay for skill
• Minimum of two (2) years of manufacturing experience in an industrial manufacturing environment
• Minimum of (1) year of experience using hand and air tools.
• Experience in reading Manufacturing Information documents (MI)
• South Carolina Manufacturing Certification (SCMC) or equivalent

While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; sit; reach at or above shoulder level; grip; and use hands to handle and feel. The employee is frequently required to walk; stoop; lift; carry; push; pull; and grip. The employee is frequently required to lift/carry up to 50 pounds. The employee is frequently required to push/pull up to or greater than 50 pounds. The employee may be required to use material handling equipment, including powered industrial vehicles. The vision requirements include far and close vision with depth perception and color discrimination. While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to listen and to talk.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly exposed to noise and frequently exposed to dust.
