Energy Jobline ZR is seeking an electro-mechanical assembler to support sonar system components in Manassas, VA. The role involves reading drawings, performing soldering, harness assembly, and cable termination while maintaining quality expectations and a safe workspace.

The ideal candidate has 1-2 years of assembly experience, proficiency with Word/Excel/Outlook, and a strong attention to detail. A DoD Secret-level clearance is a noted consideration, with full-time on-site work.

Responsabilidades

• Read and follow assembly drawings, build books, and schematics.
• Identify product defects and document findings.
• Rework or repair assembled equipment per engineering changes.
• Soldering – through hole, jumper wires.
• Harness assembly - layout and dressing wires per drawings.
• Handle and clean fiber cables.
• Terminating cables using mil-spec components.
• Use and maintain typical hand tools; apply adhesives properly.
• Maintain workstation inventory and ensure safety standards.
• Perform quality checks to ensure product meets standards.
• Assist in developing build book guides.
• Mechanical assembly and maintaining a clean, safe workspace.
• J-STD-Certification is desired.

Job Responsibilities:

• Ability to read and follow assembly Drawings, Build Books, and some schematics
• Identify product defects and complete appropriate documentation when defects are identified
• Rework and/or repair assembled equipment and products according to engineering specification changes
• Soldering – Thru Hole, Jumper Wires
• Harness Assembly - layout and dressing of wires to drawing or in accordance with cable layout form as required
• Fiber Cables – Handling and Cleaning
• Cable Termination – Use of various Terminals, Mil-Spec Pins, Sockets, and Connectors,
• Use and maintenance of typical Hand Tools
• Proper application and handling of adhesives
• Maintain inventory of product in workstations
• Perform quality work checks to ensure the product meets quality standards
• Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures
• Assist in providing input and development of build book guides
• Mechanical Assembly
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• J-STD-Certification is

Physical Demands and Abilities:

• Regularly lift 30-50 pounds
• Proficient manual dexterity to assemble pieces together quickly and accurately using the appropriate tooling
• Visual acuity sufficient for close vision, distance vision, vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus on the assembly task at hand.
• Regularly perform repetitive tasks

Requirements:

Basic Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1-2 years electro-mechanical assembly or related experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Able to troubleshoot and problem solve in a dynamic work environment with professionalism and positive work ethic
• Ability to perform work accurately, thoroughly, at a high level with attention to detail
• Demonstrate conceptual and logical reasoning abilities in problem solving
• High attention to detail and self-motivation skills
• Related technical or vocational training or certification experience highly desirable
