Job summary

CCJ & Associates in La Porte, TX is seeking an Assembly Technician III (Tube Bender / Instrument Fitter) to perform diverse mechanical assemblies, following procedures and safety guidelines, with minimal supervision from Custom Solutions Supervisor.

The role requires expertise in tube bending, instrumentation and tubing assembly, plus the ability to read engineering drawings and assist customers or engineers with layouts and questions; a high school diploma and 7 years assembling complex

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Minimum 7 years assembly experience building complex assemblies.
• Swagelok certifications or ability to obtain within timeframe.

Responsibilities

• Independently complete a wide range of mechanical assemblies, from basic to complex, following established procedures and safety protocols.
• Proficiently perform tube bending, instrumentation & tubing assembly installation.
• Provide technical assistance to customers, Custom Solutions Engineers, and Technical Advisors regarding system designs and assembly requirements.
• Interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and assembly instructions.
• Ensure quality standards are met throughout the assembly process.
• Package completed assemblies accurately and prepare orders for delivery.
• Enter and update production order information in the company’s business system.
